If you're wondering what you, personally, might do to further the goals RIRA set forth in Wednesday night's Town Meeting...

The Governor's telephone number is (212) 681-4580. Call and say you've had it with mismanagement of Roosevelt Island by Al D'Amato's camp follower, Jerome Blue. Ask that your message be passed on to the relevant aide to George Pataki.

Or call the office of Senator Al himself: (212) 947-7390. Tell the message-taker that you know Blue is posted here as a parking spot for someone who knows too much about Al, and too little about how to run this place - and you want him out.

And while you're talking to the Governor's office, tell them you want Island residents to elect the members of the RIOC Board... all of them. Remind them this is a democracy.

Finally, make a contribution to The RIRA Action Fund, PO Box 335, Roosevelt Island, NY 10044, because it's clear some costly action lies ahead.
