This is a listing of issues prior to September, 1996.

These issues are not (yet) available in electronic form, and this listing of dates and key headlines is provided for general reference only.  In some cases, issues are missing, and The WIRE would appreciate receiving spare copies to complete sets for library use.

In addition, The WIRE seeks volunteer assistance in scanning these issues to TIF or PDF form so that they may be made available on line.

Advertiser rate information is available on line and by calling Ellen Levy, Advertising Sales Manager, at (212) 751-8214.  The WIRE accepts advertising within the newspaper as well as stuffers.

Note that not all volume numbers (VV) are correct, nor are all issue numbers (nn) correct.  They are listed here as they appear on the front page of the issue.  In general, the issue date is the best guide to the sequence of issue, though in at least one case, the issue date is incorrect, duplicating the date used for the prior issue.
