Trespass 4/26, roof, exit Q9, 560 Main St. Officers responded to alarm, encountered three male youths on roof and escorted them to PSD. Each was issued a respective Juvenile Report, parents notified, and they were released to same. Criminal Mischief 4/21, laundry, 560 Main St. RIHM Super in-house, stated laundry room had been in order at 10:45 a.m., at 11:30 a.m. RIHM was notified of flood. Super discovered hose had long gashes in it. NYPD responded, prepared report. 4/21, apt., 510 Main St. Anonymous male phoned PSD, reported cracked window on 4th floor. Officer responded to scene, confirmed same. RIHM responded, taped window. There were no injuries. 4/27, hallway, 9th fl., 625 Main St. Concierge phoned PSD, reported window had been broken on the 9th floor. Officer responded, confirmed same. Handyman was fixing window upon his arrival. 4/29, apt. balcony, 10 River Rd. Officer responded to conciergeūs station, concierge was holding two youths, responsible for throwing rocks from balcony, and having damaged SUV. Ten youths were attending party at a 12th floor apt. Victim and parents to handle matter among themselves. No one was injured. NYPD report was refused. 4/30, apt., 4th fl., 580 Main St. Officers responded to scene for smoke smell, newspaper was on fire in front of an apt. Resident was not at home. UPDATE: Subsequently resident in-house, informed Duty Officer that fire was in front of her apt. RIHM Super responded to apt., stated condition would be corrected. Open Container 4/22, walkway, front of 576 Main St. Arrest. Officer on patrol observed an unoccupied yellow school bus with doors open, lights on, engine running, parked at 516 ramp. Officer saw an open 22-oz. bottle of alcoholic beverage on busūs seat. Bus driver arrived, said he was going to move bus immediately. Officer smelled alcohol on him, detected a slightly slurred speech, placed him under arrest, pending investigation, and released him. Bus remained in PSDūs custody until tow truckūs arrival. Domestic Dispute 4/27, apt., 595 Main St. Female phoned PSD for assistance. Officers responded, victim stated she had had physical dispute with her son. NYPD responded, prepared report. Officer referred mother to Family Court. Medical attention was refused by son. Found Property During these dates/ locations, property was found by officers on patrol or by residents, and secured at PSD. 4/23, elev. #1, 540 Main St. Graffiti During these dates/locations, graffiti was found by patrolling officers. 4/25, adjacent South gate, 200 Main St. Hazardous Condition 4/24, Motorgate 3B, 4A, 5B, 688 Main St. While patrolling, officer observed lights not working creating a hazardous condition. 4/25, east seawall, west seawall, r/o, etc., 2/4 River Road. Anonymous female informed officer that lights were not functioning at several locations on island and that it was very dark. Copy to RIOC Engineer V. Kopicki. Investigation 4/22, 4th fl. hallway, 580 Main St. Officers responded to scene for call about youths at scene and of illegal drug sales. There were four youths in hallway, who were identified and ultimately left building. No illegal drugs were observed. Youth Officer was informed. 4/22, apt., 580 Main St. Officer responded to apt., female resident said a group of female youths were knocking/laughing in front of her door. Officer searched area for youths with negative results. 4/29, ūLū, 5th to 1st, 546 Main St. Officers patrolling observed light bulbs were out. Sgt. corrected situation, lights went back on. They did not observe any damage. 4/30, hall, front of apt., 580 Main St. Female in-house, complaining that on Saturday morning at approx. 1:40 a.m., unknown person had set fire to newspapers in front of her apt. Officers did respond, fire was extinguished, RIHM Super at scene immediately to clean up debris. She further stated that she had not been in danger at any time. Lost Property 4/21, sidewalk, 543 Main St. Found. Anonymous male in-house, surrendered wallet he had found at scene. Same contained no currency, credit cards and other miscellaneous items. Owner was notified, came to PSD, recovered, signed for his property. Smoke Condition During these dates and locations, smoke conditions occurred with no damage/injuries. 4/23, apt., 540 Main St. Unsecured Vehicle During these dates and locations at Motorgate vehicles were found to be unsecured while PSD officers were on patrol. 4/23, Motorgate 6-A, 688 Main St. Vehicle Accident/DWI 4/21, top of ramp, 688 Main St. Officer on way to conduct a Motorgate patrol encountered two males who had had a vehicle accident. There were no injuries, EMS was refused. Both vehicles sustained minor damage, drivers exchanged information, refused NYPD when they arrived. 4/25, ramp, 688 Main St. There was a vehicle accident on the ramp. Driver of #2 was cut in the face, but drove away. EMS responded, but received call from Queens Plaza, for a bleeder. Both vehicles were damaged. NYPD responded, prepared report.
