Republican Candidate
Announces for Assembly

Gregory T. Camp has announced that he’s running for the State Assembly seat vacated by Pete Grannis. Camp, a Republican, will face Democrat Micah Kellner, a former aide to Rep. Carolyn Maloney. He announced several weeks ago.

Camp is a former investment banker, prosecutor, and Deputy Director of Criminal Justice for New York State, according to a press release issued by his office. He identifies himself as "a progressive, pro-choice Republican."

The WIRE is offering both Camp and Kellner space in the June 2 issue to put forward their positions on the issues. The election is Tuesday, June 5.
