• Majidur Rahman, the busboy at Trellis, was mugged recently near his home in the Bronx, and severely injured. Trellis is taking up a collection for him, and welcoming all contributions.

• Some parents haven’t yet picked up photos of their kids with Santa taken at the Blackwell House tree-lighting ceremony. They’re at the RIOC office, 591 Main Street.

• The Sportspark Open Swim, once about to be called off, is now on again: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-9 p.m., and Saturdays 12-3 and 4-7.
